The Law Office of Jeffrey S. Schwartz was first founded in San Diego, California in 1987. The business and its founder received many awards and honors. For example the American Bar Association awarded Mr. Schwartz its “BEST PROJECT OF 1990" for his conceptualizing and establishing Free Legal Clinics at Colleges, Universities and Senior Centers. Later in his career, and without notice, the daily legal publication awarded Mr. Schwartz the distinction, “GUTSIEST ATTORNEY OF THE YEAR”, in the first year that award was created. He also received special recognition from the Superior Court of the State of California for his work as a Pro Tem Judge, and the prestigious Gold Medallion from the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity International. Mr. Schwartz is currently licensed to practice in California, District of Columbia and the United States Supreme Court.

Marquis “Who’s Who” honors include: In American Law; Among Practicing Attorneys; In Executives and Professionals and even “Who’s Who in the World”. Mr. Schwartz was an Advisor to the State Bar of California and a four term Supreme Court Justice (Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity). He also served for three years as CEO of an Internet company. His directorships included founding member of the San Diego Human Relations Commission; the American Jewish Committee; and the Jewish Community Relations Council. Of interest, in 1992, Mr. Schwartz was chosen as a candidate for the United States Congress.

Since Mr Schwartz’ return to Long Island, he has accomplished the following:

- Appointment to the inaugural board of the Nassau County Sewer and Storm Water Finance Authority, responsible for   Three Hundred Fifty    Million Dollars in revenue bonds. He served as the authority's Chairperson.
- Director and Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Foundation For Sight and Sound
- Chairman of the Long Island Chapter of the National Jewish Democratic Council
- Master Inspector, Master of Rolls,Vice Chancellor and Chancellor
Supreme Senate Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity International

Mr. Schwartz currently serves as:

- Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Mid Island Y Jewish Community Center
- Member of the Board of Directors for the Long Island chapter of the Jewish National Fund (JNF)
